Ballynona House offers stunning countryside views.
During our stay, we experienced discomfort due to the cold attic rooms, which had a temperature in the low 60s. Additionally, the windows were not airtight, leading to condensation, and light fixtures were intermittently functional. It was concerning to hear noises from rodents in the attic, which added to our unease during the night.

Couples looking for a lovely getaway
Kamla really knows how to make you feel welcome, went above and beyond with a full Irish breakfast, everything was fresh and tasty. A total game changer, not just food, it was an experience.
It was a bit pricey but honestly worth it for the experience you get.

Sad, sad, sad! I expected to be treated like royalty, yet I was left in a drafty attic room with no heat and unreliable lighting, perfect for a horror movie. The lack of a shower curtain made washing impossible. I almost rated it positively, but what happened to proper care for guests? I just couldn’t do it.

I stayed in the Budget Double Room for a night and really liked it. The bed was super comfy. I appreciated the heated blanket on a chilly evening. The room had a lovely quirky vibe. The house itself does show some age, but that adds to the charm, I think. The strong Wi-Fi helped me stay connected. Overall, a cozy place to rest after exploring.
